A Few of My Favorites
The past few months I have had the honor of working with some amazing people. Today I was going through my files and decided it would be fun to share a few of my favorite stories.
Mrs. Starr
At 86, Marian has seen some amazing things in her life. We laughed a lot as she told me stories about growing up on the farm with no electricity or running water and the jokes her family played on each other. Here is a clip of one of those stories:
The Siblings
This family is a riot. After getting an overview of the family from the oldest brother, now 70, I sat down with the four siblings (plus a few spouses and offspring) to get the color that made the stories come alive. Listen to one of their stories of growing up:
The Mom
Okay, so I may be a little biased but Kris had some great stories. Plus, I am so happy to have my mom’s voice recorded. She has a lot of gems like the one below, plus I get to hear her saying how proud of me she is for years to come.
These are just a small sampling of the many stories I have heard, more to come soon.
